Arahtis didn’t start with a plan. It started with a feeling. A quiet road. A glimpse of still water. A stretch of land so peaceful, so untouched, it felt like it had been waiting for someone to notice. And we did. What followed was not a hotel, but a home — slowly built, thoughtfully designed, and shaped by the rhythm of the lake itself. Every space at Arahtis opens to the outside: open skies, coconut palms, rare birds passing through the garden. You’ll find shade and light, silence and breeze. Time slows in the best possible way. We built it for ourselves — and for others who would appreciate what it offers: a sense of calm, a place to rest, and the freedom to choose how you stay. Book a single room, a full villa, or the entire property. Come for a weekend or make it your base for something longer. The lake is always there, steady and grounding. But the sea is close too — just ten minutes to Hikkaduwa’s surf breaks, beach cafés, coral reefs, and energy.
